Start with your specific repair
Describe the vehicle, damage and any concerns before asking about availability. Ask whether the location can assess this vehicle and which work may involve another provider. Do not assume every location has identical equipment or service arrangements.
Look for a clear explanation
Ask how the estimate will describe the work, how discoveries are handled and whom you will contact. Request details behind any certification or warranty claim that matters to you. A badge or a low quoted total cannot answer all of these questions.
Compare communication as well as scope
Take notes using the same questions for each shop. Clarify the next step, what it costs if applicable and what constitutes an appointment. Choose using the vehicle-specific information you received rather than a promise of an exact completion date before inspection.
